Requirements
Minimum 10+ years of experience.
Expert-level proficiency in IBM z/OS systems including installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning.
Strong hands-on experience with z/OS subsystems such as JES2/JES3, RACF, DFSMS, DFHSM, and SMP/E.
Deep understanding of Mainframe storage management, networking, and system security.
Proven experience in capacity planning, problem determination, RCA (Root Cause Analysis), and performance optimization.
Solid background in automation tools (e.g., REXX, CLIST, JCL scripting, System Automation, OPS/MVS, or equivalent).
Expertise in z/OS upgrades, migration, and modernization initiatives.
Working knowledge of z/OSMF, Zowe, and other modern mainframe management interfaces.
Experience with disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity planning.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams across geographies and manage complex multi-account environments.
Strong skills in technical documentation, governance, and change management processes (ITIL framework preferred).
