About the role

  • Prepare and issue technical and commercial proposals based on customer inquiries.
  • Size and select appropriate models based on customer process conditions.
  • Ensure proposed solutions are technically accurate and commercially sound.
  • Demonstrate strong commercial acumen to structure quotes that align with business objectives and customer expectations.
  • Provide reliable technical clarifications and assist with day-to-day application issues.
  • Deliver product and technical training to customers as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date proficiency in product knowledge and applications.
  • Participate in technical and commercial clarification meetings with customers and internal teams.
  • Coordinate with factories and sales teams to ensure timely quote and order fulfillment.
  • Support sales targets through accurate and timely quote/order execution.
  • Review customer orders and ensure proper order entry into the system.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including operations and logistics.
  • Assist in lead qualification and follow-up activities.
  • Ensures compliance of workplace safety rules, including but not limited to the usage of a personal protective equipment, if provided to you, while working; not involve in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger peers or oneself; reporting unsafe work conditions and providing suggestions to improve safety/ health at work, as needed.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, or Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
  • Strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles.
  • 2–3 years of experience in Application Engineering or Inside Sales roles.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong critical thinking skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen to structure quotes that align with business objectives and customer expectations.
  • Ability to think outside the box to solve problems creatively while complying with company policies, safety standards, and commercial guidelines.
  • A collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
