About the role

  • Serve on the fundraising leadership team for IJM’s US market, reporting to the Vice President of Philanthropy
  • Design and implement the fundraising plan across the integrated pipeline for midlevel, major and principal donors
  • Own strategy and execution across donor cultivation, acquisition, retention, reactivation, and stewardship for relationship fundraising
  • Build and implement an integrated fundraising strategy across Mid-Level, Major, and Principal donor portfolios
  • Ensure optimization of each portfolio and oversee implementation of processes, systems, and structures required for each portfolio
  • Document business rules across the integrated pipeline and ensure system implementation and compliance
  • Partner with the Director of Revenue Operations on revenue planning, forecasting and delivery and track/report progress
  • Ensure fundraising team delivers on requirements and executes the plan; carry a small load of key donor relationships
  • Lead training and team leadership: equip managers and fundraisers, establish individual development plans, and inspire accountable team culture
  • Partner with adjacent teams to co-create shared strategies for engaging corporations, churches and influencers
  • Lead decision-making on investments and team priorities in accordance with executing the integrated pipeline strategy

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of relational fundraising experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of successfully developing and managing staff
  • Proven experience executing fundraising strategies and implementing new fundraising processes and systems
  • Experience across midlevel and major donor fundraising preferred
  • Awareness of modern fundraising channels and tools
  • Use of data analytics to inform strategy
  • Experience leveraging Salesforce CRM
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Facility with quantitative, data-driven approaches, including comfort with in-depth fundraising data, reporting, budgets, and forecasting
  • Ability to handle a large volume of work and oversee multiple projects
  • Mature orthodox Christian faith as defined by the Apostles’ Creed (statement of faith required)
  • Right to work in the US (position only available to candidates with US work authorization)
