About the role
- Senior Data Operations Analyst managing and analyzing data applications at TransUnion. Ensuring data quality across multiple platforms and collaborating with various teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage data applications across multiple platforms
- Monitor day-to-day operations and processes
- Create data flow configurations and application jobs
- Analyze data in order to identify data quality issues and application deficiencies
- Investigate issues and conduct root-cause analysis
- Create/Review reports and assist in identifying the operational state of production applications
- Assist in the development and expansion of various data quality programs and initiatives
- Prepare and present analysis results to business partner and stakeholders
Requirements
- 3+ years experience
- SQL (SQL Server Management Studio) or PostgeSQL (pgAdmin)
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow data flows and onboarding procedures
- Experience analyzing and validating large volumes of data
- Ability to read/interpret data reports with Tableau or similar
- Ability to work in a team environment & collaborate closely with various teams/associates
- Ability to work in MS Teams environment
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence fundamentals
- Knowledge of AbInitio ExpressIT
- Experience with managing & troubleshooting Web Crawlers
- Knowledge of Cloud Services (specifically AWS)
- Familiarity with data transfer protocols using FileZilla or WinSCP
