About the role

  • Senior Analyst analyzing trade spend, enhancing promotional effectiveness for Pet portfolio at Smucker. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze trade spend to generate insights and recommendations that will enhance promotional effectiveness and improve business results
  • Apply creative problem-solving and take bold action to support implementation of these plans to customer sales teams
  • Lead the critical facilitation of eMAP policy and process across the Pet portfolio
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships across the Customer Category Business (CCB) organization
  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to the RGM and Commercial teams for increased promotional performance
  • Manage PEA systematic tools and resources
  • Collaborate with Pet leadership to improve process and policy enforcement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in Finance, Sales, Category Insights or Analytics
  • Experience in business analytics, insights, or business planning
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Proficient in Excel, Power Point, Spotfire, and Circana/Nielsen
  • Process oriented, energetic self-starter with demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Creative problem-solver
  • Comfortable engaging with all levels across the organization and challenging status quo
  • Ability to derive insights from analysis and research
  • Eager to learn and master new concepts
