- Senior Accounting Analyst at One80 Intermediaries managing daily accounting activities related to wholesale business. Involves fund application, receivables monitoring, and internal reporting.
Responsibilities
- Ability to apply funds received from all sources to the appropriate insured accounts
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies by any means necessary before applying the funds
- Timely clear balances in unaccounted accounts and clearing/suspense accounts
- Closely monitor broker/agent receivables and follow up with brokers for collection of overdue receivables
- Request notice of cancellations when deemed necessary
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies in all areas of accounting
- Assist in preparing month end reporting
- Bank Reconciliations
- Financials review including Balance sheet and budget
- Initiate internal transfers and ACH/Wire payments
- Process Supplier Payments for Brokerage and Programs
- Handle monthly Account Current reporting per Supplier contracts
- Maintain dedicated supplier Trust account balances
- System reconciliations
Requirements
- Minimum of Associates degree in Accounting and/or 4+ years’ experience with Insurance accounting
- Ability to communicate clearly & professionally with Underwriters, Agents/brokers and internal clients
- Experience with accounting management systems
- Self-motivation and strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, challenging work environment
- Ability to work cohesively with team members
