About the role

  • Identify and approach potential clients
  • Follow up leads for business development
  • Determine the gross profit margin and set a bottom line for product and services sales aligned with business strategies
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships and follow–up with existing clients, in order to generate new business
  • Serve as point of contact for client issues and provide resolution at a senior level in collaboration with the relevant departments
  • Be responsible for the budgeting and re-budgeting of projects
  • Review and adjust contracts regarding commercial terms
  • Keep track of the progress of current offers
  • Be responsible for the commercial supervision of the projects’ execution
  • Coordinate the teams involved in the preparation of an offer, in order to ensure that the appropriate approach has been used and all aspects of the client’s requirements have been covered

Requirements

  • A University/College degree in Computer Science or other similar disciplines.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in Business Development/Account Management in services, software, and hardware and especially in the Public Sector and Local Government (Municipalities and Prefectures).
  • Hands-on experience with SAP
  • Excellent communication and strong listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to deliver results and meet challenging sales targets in a demanding environment
  • Strong decision making skills.
  • Ability to work and collaborate with various teams within the organization.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language (written and verbal)
