About the role

  • Microbulk Account Representative managing approximately 300 accounts and driving sales initiatives. Working collaboratively with sales teams to achieve business targets in a competitive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a Microbulk portfolio of approximately 300 accounts and $10.5M in annual revenue
  • Renewing existing Microbulk merchant contracts
  • Driving price and surcharge initiatives
  • Building customer relationships
  • Improving contract terms and conditions
  • Signing new business for the South sub-region
  • Meeting established business targets in an exciting, competitive environment
  • Working closely with IG Microbulk Field Sales Representatives to jointly drive the continued success of the Inside/Outside selling model

Requirements

  • BS degree preferred
  • Self-starter with strong desire to succeed in a complex internal and external environment
  • Ability to work as part of a larger selling team
  • Financial acumen
  • Commercial industrial gas selling experience a plus
  • Knowledge and understanding of industrial gas contract language and negotiations
  • Understanding of Microbulk business, offerings and equipment is helpful
  • Responsive and detail oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multitask
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and your own vehicle
  • Limited travel required: 1-2 trips per year to South Region (US customer) base and 1-2 trips per year for Sales Meetings
  • Candidate must be willing to work flexible hours to align with customer base
