About the role

  • Manage relationships with clients (existing and prospective) and act as a trusted strategic partner
  • Provide support to Client Services Director with day-to-day management and development of Senior Account Managers
  • Identify opportunities to grow client accounts and increase impact, working collaboratively with internal teams and senior management
  • Manage clients’ budgets effectively and maximise profit margins
  • Deliver first class service to clients, exceeding expectations
  • Delegate tasks to internal teams, keeping activities running to schedule
  • Develop and maintain a client call schedule and distribute internally
  • Lead on client meetings for key accounts and ensure slides are up to date
  • Spot opportunities to improve delivery and streamline approaches with Heads of Departments
  • Build and maintain strong relationships ensuring retention targets are met
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow client base and seek new opportunities
  • Lead client/agency relationships with senior stakeholders and manage revenue for key accounts
  • Support Client Services Director and act as escalation point for Senior Account Managers
  • Maintain SLAs, chair calls and meetings, conduct document briefings and final reviews
  • Keep client/agency documentation up to date (WIPs, including roadmaps)
  • Identify upsell opportunities and manage contracts end-to-end
  • Regularly update CRM with cross-selling opportunities and report on client satisfaction
  • Join pitches and assist on new business activities, deputise for Client Services Director when needed

Requirements

  • Relationship-focused and an expert in building strong relationships
  • Excellent writing, client management and problem-solving skills
  • Commercially minded with time management, negotiation and sales skills
  • Ability to achieve service efficiencies
  • Eye for detail and ability to spot opportunities for growth
  • Able to work autonomously
  • Experience in a senior Client Services (or equivalent) role (5 years minimum experience)
  • Sound understanding of multiple areas of digital marketing such SEO, Content and Social
