About the role

  • Sales Representative generating new B2B business for Sunlighten's wellness solutions through market research and strategic outreach. Building lasting client partnerships in the health and wellness industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships and build trust with our primary clients- business owners or decision makers within organizations (wellness centers, holistic health centers, day spas, hotels/hospitality industry, home builders, designers, etc.)
  • Strategically identify new opportunities through cold calls and prospecting to fill up a pipeline that produces and hits the BD monthly quota
  • Ramp-up over the course of 4 months- we will provide the tools/opportunity to perfect your demos, build relationships, and find quick sales to begin earning commission
  • Hit long term KPI’s from a performance standpoint including revenue targets, cold call lists, lead generation, activity metrics, etc.
  • Never step or shy away from a challenge- be ready to work with a winning team of sales professionals and leaders
  • Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions, terms of sales, and/or service agreements; prepare contracts and submit orders
  • Collaborate with other departments, managers, and other staff to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and that products are distributed properly
  • Analyze market reports to determine where to seek out new business
  • Establish contact with new business opportunities via carious means
  • Create proposals for existing customers to better help them with their business while utilizing company products
  • Work to convert losses into wins to the best of your ability
  • Get in front of potential problems in order to minimize potential loss
  • Utilize senior staff for training and guidance
  • Additional duties as assigned by Director of Business Development

Requirements

  • Requires an established book of business and strong industry relationships in hospitality, fitness, healthcare, or recovery, with the ability to utilize these connections to drive new partnerships for Sunlighten.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications or a related field
  • High School Diploma/GED + relevant work experience will be considered
  • 3+ years of sales experience specifically closing B2B deals
  • 1+ year of Salesforce experience
  • Willingness to come into Sunlighten HQ twice per week (if local), specifically Tuesdays
  • Hunter mentality and excellent understanding of what it takes to fill a pipeline through cold calling, networking, and relationship building
  • Self-driven with superior interpersonal communication skills that will allow you to overcome objection/challenges
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasive skills for the purpose of closing deals
  • Consistently hit monthly targets that will be given by Director of Business Dev. Mgr
