About the role

  • Achieve/exceed territory sales plan by achieving the desired new revenue targets through leading a team of Account Executives
  • Lead by example by demonstrating sales techniques, get involved in deals, and exhibit the conviction to win using both challenger sales and MEDDPICC discipline
  • Demonstrate curiosity and take action to understand PatSnap innovation intelligence products and services
  • Demonstrate curiosity and constantly learn about the AI, IP and R&D space
  • Assist in developing creative sales hooks, messaging, and positioning to win against competitors particularly in the SMB and Mid-market arena
  • Actively participate in customer, product, and industry related events while sharing learnings with the sales team
  • Prepare and execute regular 1 on 1 coaching and team meetings to communicate, align, and motivate
  • Adopt the highest standard to attract and recruit the best sales talent while having a clear strategy to retain top performers
  • Take ownership of accurate sales forecasting using Salesforce, Outreach, and other sales reporting tools
  • Collaborate with cross functional leaders to solve sales challenges and identify opportunities that lead to better sales conversion
  • Ensure accurate execution of sales territories and revenue operation process

Requirements

  • You have led a B2B sales team before of at least 5 team members, ideally tech SaaS products
  • You have a success record of achieving and exceeding sales targets from majority new business
  • You can coach on full circle sales from prospecting to closing
  • You are qualified in Challenger Sales and MEDDPICC principles
  • You LOVE change and change management and can adapt coaching to frequent product updates
  • You are a hands on coach ready to shadow, review and coach calls daily
  • You are proactive, a strategic thinker and focused
  • You are a strong collaborator with other business units including product, account management and services like Legal and Finance
  • Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, and other sales reporting/forecasting tools
