About the role
- Sales Executive achieving sales targets for Vadilal Ice Creams in assigned territory. Developing marketing strategies, managing budgets, and maintaining client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Achieve the sales target for assigned territory / region
- Develops and implements strategic marketing plans and sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services
- Develops and manages sales/marketing operating budgets
- Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
- Reviews and analyzes sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness
- Contribute towards the achievement of company’s strategic and operational objectives
- Timely collection of outstanding payment from all vendors
- Make sure that no payment is outstanding for more than 30 / 60 / 90 days
- Communicates any changes in the order or delivery date to relevant parties
- Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
- Directs market channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals
- Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals
- Achieves satisfactory market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends
- Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence
- Monitors competitor products, sales activities
- Any other job that has been assigned from time to time
Requirements
- Bachelor’s / Masters in Business Administration
- Prior experience in FMCG Sales is preferred
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical abilities with a focus on strategic planning and problem-solving
