About the role

  • Account Executive IV managing national client accounts for BCBSMA. Driving renewal, growth, and cross-selling activities while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Spearheads renewal and cross-selling initiatives for a dedicated portfolio of national clients
  • Architects and implements customized strategies that align national client business objectives with BCBSMA's comprehensive suite of solutions
  • Strategically engages and manages relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Embodies and promotes the core values of BCBSMA
  • Serves as a dedicated advocate for national account clients and their members

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s degree in Business or related area a plus
  • Massachusetts Producer License required (or obtained within 90 days of hire)
  • 5+ years' experience managing complex national clients within health insurance industry
  • 3+ years’ experience in managing National / Major Accounts (>1K subs)
  • 5+ years of prior sales experience
  • Ability to travel to local client sites as required
