About the role

  • Outside Sales Representative specializing in fire protection services with a focus on customer relations and compliance. Driving growth in service contracts and client management across multiple states.

Responsibilities

  • Drive profitable service growth across a defined territory
  • Sell inspection contracts, PMAs, testing, repairs, retrofits, and compliance-driven work
  • Convert project/install customers into recurring service clients
  • Review inspection reports and develop code-compliant scopes of work
  • Conduct site surveys and identify upgrade and corrective opportunities
  • Present technical solutions to facility, property, and executive stakeholders
  • Grow recurring revenue within existing accounts
  • Manage pipeline, forecasting, and CRM activity
  • Partner closely with service operations and field teams

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years in the fire protection industry (service sales strongly preferred)
  • Experience selling fire sprinkler, alarm, suppression, or life safety services
  • Working knowledge of NFPA 25, NFPA 13, and inspection/testing requirements
  • Proven ability to hit revenue and margin targets
  • Strong consultative selling and closing skills
  • CRM proficiency and willingness to travel the territory
  • NICET certification (any level) (Nice to Have)
  • Prior technician or service operations background (Nice to Have)
  • Established regional facility or commercial real estate relationships (Nice to Have)
  • Experience building and managing PMA portfolios (Nice to Have)
