Proactively network through industry events, associations and shows to develop and broaden influencer and end user relationships.
Maintain a pulse on the local market trends and advise Allegion multifamily teams on market strategies.
Identify product and solution gaps.
Work with Allegion teams to prioritize new product development and technology solutions.
Drive owner standards to maximize Allegion solutions.
Collaborate with Allegion teams to create multifamily specifications and to increase the Architect’s knowledge of our solution sets.
Build general contractor relationships to ensure product delivery and a strong customer experience.
Ensure selling strategies align with meeting region and territory revenue and profit goals as well as model the customer experience Allegion differentiates itself upon.
Requirements
5+ years sales experience
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
Multi family channel/industry experience is preferred
Door hardware /electronic access /security solution industry experience preferred
Team selling approach and ability to create internal partnerships
Travel by car and plane will be required for this position. The position will require at least 50% travel during the day and up to 20-30% overnight travel
Candidate must live within Southern California to call on customers in the Los Angeles and San Diego territory.
