Sales Analyst supporting Group Benefits Sales team by managing RFP processes, collaborating with Sales Representatives, and engaging with Underwriting. Ensure client satisfaction and profitability through effective proposal strategies.
Responsibilities
Act as the designated Field resource to support Sales Representatives and the Client Management team in the 2-1999 market.
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the RFP and New Business/Add Issue submission processes.
Manage RFP Inventory and Quote Process.
Make recommendations regarding benefit/rate options based on analysis of RFP and consultative interactions with Sales Representatives and customers.
Engage key internal stakeholders to develop a comprehensive proposal strategy.
Meet with Underwriting to negotiate rates, exceptions, and approvals.
Handoff and transition case from sales to onboarding.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred
1-3 years of group insurance experience processing RFP preferred
Knowledge of group insurance, products, and services
Knowledge of underwriting principles and practices
Demonstrated success in servicing customers (Producers / Assistants / Planholders)
Experience working with and addressing the needs of field sales organization in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment
Salesforce experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
