About the role

  • Sales Administrator in a chemical distribution company, managing container data and ensuring customer service excellence. Resolving queries and maintaining accurate information for operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the administration of our container data, thoroughly investigating all customer queries.
  • Take ownership of sales ledger queries including delivery and pricing issues and resolve in a timely manner
  • Process credit requests and goods returns orders in SAP.
  • Log complaints accurately on Univar ERP system, support the identification of the root cause, capture corrective actions and co-ordinate the customer responses.
  • Process requests for new and amended accounts.
  • Log customers regulatory requests accurately on the ticketing system.
  • Providing first class service by understanding our customers’ requirements and developing a deep understanding of what they need from our business.

Requirements

  • Are a UK resident and currently living in the UK
  • Have the right to work in the UK - an offer of employment is subject to satisfactory proof of this.
  • Are very comfortable using a PC, Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software, (experience of SAP would be an advantageous)
  • Delight in investigating customer problems, getting to the root cause and putting them right
  • Are personable, organised and resilient
