About the role
- Learning & Development Specialist responsible for managing regulatory training programs and professional qualifications at SS&C. Overseeing system administration, reporting, and learning materials evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day running of the Training & Competence Scheme
- Manage and update the Training & Competence system
- Respond to queries via the dedicated inbox and maintain scheme documentation
- Generate monthly reports for key stakeholders
- Coordinate exam bookings and study material orders for CII, CISI, and Fitch Learning
- Process invoices and manage the professional qualifications inbox
- Maintain version control for learning materials and collect evaluation data to assess learning impact
- Administer the SS&C Learning Management System, including course uploads, reporting, and issue resolution
- Provide cover for L&D support mailbox during absences
- Engage in ongoing Continuous Professional Development to stay current with learning trends and best practices.
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Experience administering Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy and consistency.
- Enthusiasm for learning and development, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Prior experience in a Learning & Development or HR environment and use of ‘Access learning’ LMS (desirable).
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and professional qualification bodies (e.g., CII, CISI, Fitch Learning) (desirable).
- Experience working in a global or matrixed organisation (desirable).
- Background in Financial Services or other regulated industries (desirable).
