About the role

  • Compliance Analyst ensuring all operations comply with laws and internal policies at MDS Brasil. Focus on risk management, training, and regulatory compliance oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal and regulatory monitoring by tracking changes and updates to relevant laws and regulations to ensure business areas receive timely updates and can adjust their processes to meet legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze the results of due diligence and background checks through comprehensive review to identify potential risks to which the company is exposed.
  • Ensure comprehensive compliance training materials are kept up to date by researching, consolidating, and formatting content so employees are always aware of the company's latest policies and regulations.
  • Map processes with a focus on identifying risks and remediating deficiencies by understanding current workflows to proactively detect risks and mitigate potential losses.
  • Review and update compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines through critical analysis, detailed research, and collaboration to ensure alignment with regulatory practices.
  • Conduct investigations of reports submitted through the whistleblower channel by impartially and objectively analyzing all collected evidence to ensure allegations are handled independently and promptly.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on compliance metrics by organizing data and performing quantitative and qualitative analyses to support leadership decision-making.
  • Serve as a trainer and point of reference for team members by providing training and guidance so that everyone can effectively use applications and tools to achieve results.
  • Perform other related duties inherent to the role as required by the area’s needs and demands, including through training, professional development, and guidance from the immediate supervisor to ensure continuous professional growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or related fields.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law) and compliance-related legislation and regulations.
  • Professional experience in compliance, including due diligence processes, compliance program development, and training.
  • Customer focus, professionalism, collaboration, innovation, analytical capability, assertive communication, organization, decision-making, and technical leadership.
