About the role
- Environmental Compliance Specialist supporting compliance efforts on infrastructure and renewable energy projects. Conducting research, data collection, and ensuring adherence to environmental laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Support environmental compliance efforts on various infrastructure and renewable energy projects.
- Assist with regulatory research, field monitoring, data collection, and report preparation.
- Help ensure projects comply with applicable environmental laws and regulations.
- Conduct site visits and field assessments to monitor environmental conditions.
- Collect and analyze environmental data related to air, water, and soil quality.
- Prepare technical reports, impact assessments, and compliance audits.
- Support coordination efforts with regulatory agencies, project managers, and field teams.
Requirements
- 1+ years’ experience in environmental compliance, regulatory assessments, or permitting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, or a related life sciences field required.
- Valid driver’s license and active personal automobile liability insurance by the first day of employment.
- Understanding of environmental laws and regulations.
- Ability to perform field assessments and data collection.
- Strong technical writing and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with geographic information systems (GIS) or environmental modeling tools is a plus.
