  • Developing and managing key relationships with grocery retailers
  • Optimizing product assortment and launching newly developed items
  • Gaining new distribution and creating annual promotional trade plans
  • Working directly with third-party broker partners to execute sales plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years' experience in a consumer-packaged goods industry sales role
  • 2+ years' experience calling directly on Retailer Headquarters' accounts
  • Highly personable and an ability to forge strong personal relationships
  • Available to travel up to 30% of the time
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and self-starter
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills
  • Strong familiarity with syndicated forms of data (Nielsen, IRI, SPINS)
  • Strong passion for Kodiak Cakes’ brand
