About the role

  • Lead talent acquisition coordination efforts by owning scheduling of interviews.
  • Support recruiters by providing each candidate with a great interview experience (virtually and on-site).
  • Partner with the talent acquisition team, hiring managers, and interviewers on recruitment initiatives.
  • Assist with the planning and lead program management of our internship program.
  • Help to execute our university recruiting strategy in both Canada and the US.
  • Participate in team projects and talent/system process improvements.
  • Support broader recruiting efforts including helping coordinate and attend recruiting events as needed, light reporting, and sourcing.
  • Create and manage internal and external resources and documentation to ensure  up to date materials for the talent acquisition team
  • Collaborate with the people team to improve and streamline existing programs and recruiting processes.
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding, ensuring new hire pre-onboarding information is up to date and scheduling orientation sessions.
  • Help with special projects when needed.
  • Be based in our Toronto office and willing to come into the office on a hybrid model.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Communications or similar fields.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Recruitment Coordination or HR Admin capacity.
  • Has an “all hands on deck” “can do” attitude.
  • Experience using HR standard software systems such as a HRIS, ATS and Google Suite.
  • Experience partnering with a wide variety of clients and senior level business leaders.
  • Project management experience and proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment, self motivated and self-directed.
  • Open-minded and collaborative team player with the willingness to help others.
  • Passionate about self-driving technologies, solving hard problems, and creating innovative solutions.
  • Bonus/nice to have:
  • Start-up experience is a huge plus!
  • Experience in university intern/co-op recruiting.
  • Coordination in cross-functional teams across different time zones.
