About the role

  • Manage full life-cycle recruiting for approved roles including interns, fellows, contract, seasonal, temporary and regular roles
  • Own the hiring process from initiation through onboarding and retention strategies
  • Create customized sourcing strategies and build talent pipelines and prospect pools via social media and databases
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with hiring managers and conduct intake meetings to align on hiring needs
  • Manage interview process and ensure interviewers perform meaningful, fair, and equitable assessments
  • Partner with hiring managers, HRBPs and Global Talent Acquisition to create and present competitive offers
  • Collaborate with internal support and operational teams to ensure effective onboarding experience
  • Manage external vendor and agency relationships and collaborate with Regional HR and Global Mobility for cross-global hiring
  • Support drafting Recruiting SOPs and enhance best practices, compliance criteria and HRIS business processes
  • Ensure recruiting policies are executed in accordance with Dept. of Labor, Safer Recruitment module and IJM policies
  • Create and conduct interview and bias training with hiring teams; participate in onboarding and 30-60-90 day check-ins
  • Maintain Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Workday employee records, Microsoft Office Forms, SharePoint, LMS365 and Excel for recruiting data
  • Assist with job postings, advertisement processes, interview scheduling, assessment forms, new hire checklists and welcome packets
  • Source and engage passive candidates, review applications, conduct phone interviews and recommend top candidates
  • Participate in IJM’s community of spiritual formation and uphold safeguarding policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (or commensurate job experience in related field), required
  • Minimum of five years talent acquisition experience to include full life-cycle recruiting, required
  • SHRMs Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential, a plus
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment in a variety of roles
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills; ability to influence
  • Ability to advise managers throughout the process for best organizational results on hires
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with major Human Capital Management (HCM) software (Workday preferred)
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) (Workday Recruiting preferred)
  • Ability to work well with talented and diverse audiences
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Proficient with virtual meeting platforms
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn job-specific technologies: HRIS, ATS, SharePoint, LMS365 and MS Office
  • Right to work in the US required

  • Willingness to undergo background check, police clearance and reference checks
