About the role

  • Responsible for a variety of event formats
  • Manage contracts and orders
  • Ensure smooth processing of billing and office administration
  • Plan and coordinate a range of small formats and large-scale events
  • Manage safety-related aspects on site
  • Independently coordinate with all stakeholders in advance
  • Draft contracts, manage budgets and coordinate schedules
  • Regular exchange with internal departments and reporting to the Head of Event Management

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as an event management specialist (Veranstaltungskaufmann/-frau) or a comparable qualification with relevant additional training, or a degree in a related field
  • Several years of professional experience in an event agency or a comparable position
  • Independent working style combined with a structured and careful approach and a strong hands-on mentality
  • Willingness to work flexibly (supporting evening events or weekends)
  • Strong communication skills and confident manner, especially when dealing with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience in concept development
  • Proven experience in project leadership including budget planning, controlling and evaluation of events
  • Experience working with public institutions and political stakeholders is an advantage
  • Experience in event technology is an advantage
  • Proficient use of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Team player
  • Commitment and flexibility
  • Class B driver's license
  • Business-fluent German
