About the role
- Programme Manager leading V2X projects at Octopus Energy, driving automated electric vehicle charging and collaboration with car brands. Develops strategies and manages stakeholder engagements.
Responsibilities
- Project Management: Take full ownership over multiple V2X programmes simultaneously keeping things moving smoothly towards our milestones
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute the overall programme strategy and roadmap. This includes outlining project objectives and timelines, and managing programme risks and dependencies.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders, including product managers, business development, and external partners.
- Creative Thinking: Provide guidance and technical oversight to development teams working on V2X technologies. Apply a balanced and practical approach, drawing on an engineering mindset, to help shape the right solution.
- Reporting & Communication: Ensure senior staff and stakeholders are kept informed with regular updates on programme status, milestones, and key measures.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering, ideally in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience contributing to complex projects.
- Good organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a creative yet practical approach to problem solving.
- **Nice to have:**
- Experience coordinating complex projects.
- Understanding of the technical and regulatory V2X landscape.
- Familiarity with the Kraken platform, especially the Residential Flexibility product.
- Comfortable using project management tools, such as Asana.
