About the role

  • Own Integrations Strategy & Roadmap
  • Define Clearstory’s integration tiers/levels and bring clarity to how they align with customer needs.
  • Prioritize integration opportunities based on business impact, customer value, and scalability.
  • Work with leadership to align integrations with pricing and packaging strategy.
  • Partner with Engineering
  • Collaborate on a standardized, scalable integration framework that reduces tech debt and accelerates delivery.
  • Translate customer workflows into clear product requirements that balance speed with maintainability.
  • Participate early in technical discussions to anticipate risks and uncover creative solutions.
  • Drive Customer & Market Alignment
  • Work closely with go-to-market teams to understand customer workflows, integration requirements, and solution opportunities.
  • Validate opportunities through customer interviews, data, and usage metrics.
  • Ensure integrations deliver a seamless experience across setup, usage, and ongoing support.
  • Elevate Clearstory's Integrations Practice
  • Establish metrics to track adoption, usage, and health of integrations.
  • Champion evidence-based decision-making, documenting hypotheses, tradeoffs, and decisions.
  • Contribute to product team standards, raising the bar for clarity and execution.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of product management experience, ideally in SaaS with a focus on integrations, APIs, or platform products.
  • Technical fluency: comfortable discussing APIs, webhooks, and data models with engineers.
  • Strong ability to translate customer workflows into product requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proactive in driving alignment.
  • Strategic thinking paired with a bias for action — able to zoom out to frameworks and zoom in to details.
  • Understanding of construction financial workflows and systems such as Procore, Autodesk, and CMiC (or willingness to become fluent).
  • Ability to read and navigate third-party API documentation, quickly learn external systems, and become an internal expert in how Clearstory integrates with them.
