About the role

  • Establish and implement procurement processes, frameworks, governance, and tools from the ground up
  • Design and deploy supplier management structures, reporting dashboards, and procurement policies
  • Act as procurement lead to support development and execution of the Group’s procurement strategy
  • Manage end-to-end procurement: supplier selection, RFPs, contract negotiation, onboarding, and performance reviews
  • Drive cost optimisation, supplier consolidation, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency through strategic sourcing
  • Maintain procurement data, contracts, spend analysis, and third-party risk documentation
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track savings and supplier performance
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across technology and finance to align procurement with business objectives
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with regulatory standards and internal policies
  • Report to the Group Head of Procurement and Vendor Management; operate independently in a fast-paced environment
  • 6-month fixed-term contract with immediate start requirement

Requirements

  • Experience working within a Finance/Technology function with understanding of IT delivery, supplier management, risk, and governance
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to engage and influence senior technology leaders, suppliers, and finance teams
  • Experience in Procurement in a fast paced working environment
  • Degree or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field (CIPS qualification desirable)
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in procurement, ideally within financial services or a regulated environment
  • Experience with procurement systems (e.g. Coupa, SAP Ariba) and spend analytics tools
  • Strategic thinking and commercial awareness
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and ability to operate independently
  • Available to start immediately
  • Experience with end-to-end procurement processes including RFPs, contract negotiation, and supplier onboarding
