About the role

  • Ability to manage complex procurement projects from planning through implementation, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including colleagues, managers, suppliers, and other teams within the organization.
  • Knowledge of procurement-related regulations and laws, along with a strong sense of ethics to ensure all purchasing activities are conducted legally and ethically.
  • Understanding of financial metrics relevant to purchasing, such as Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis, Return on Investment (ROI) calculations, and cash flow impact.
  • Ability to analyze procurement-related data—volumes, prices, supplier performance, and other key indicators—to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Familiarity with software tools and platforms used in procurement and supply management, such as Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) procurement modules.
  • Ability to identify and assess risks related to suppliers, supply chains, and market fluctuations, and to implement strategies to mitigate them.
  • Experience drafting, reviewing, and managing supply contracts, ensuring agreed terms are met by all parties.
  • Ability to evaluate and select suppliers based on criteria such as quality, reliability, cost, and delivery capability.
  • Skill in conducting complex supplier negotiations to secure the best terms, prices, and contractual conditions for the company.
  • Ability to conduct detailed market analyses to identify trends, price fluctuations, supply conditions, and other factors that may affect purchasing decisions.
  • Deep understanding of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, contract management, and supplier negotiation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in Procurement/Purchasing.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel).
  • Power BI (preferred).
  • English (a plus).
  • Availability to work in a hybrid model in Lorena, SP (Brazil).
