About the role
- Commodity Sourcing Leader managing over $30M in fluid components sourcing strategy. Driving supplier management and engagement while ensuring compliance with terms and conditions in a global matrix environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage a global spend of over $30M on fluid components commodity (Valves, pumps, heat exchangers, filters, etc)
- Develop/manage sourcing strategy for the assigned commodity to achieve variable cost productivity, cash flow, and controllership goals with SQDC mindset
- Steer/Support the global supplier selection, qualification, development, and overall supplier management, including managing the entire contract life cycle
- Minimize GEV risk exposure...
- Partner with fulfilment team to drive lead time reduction, capacity enhancement, expedite deliveries, remove bottlenecks to improve on-time delivery performance of the supplier
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 10 years of commercial experience in Sourcing, Supply Chain, and/or Engineering
- Prior sourcing experience in negotiating, identifying opportunities, selecting suppliers, sourcing strategy, and implementing contracts (T&Cs negotiations)
- Prior experience working in a complex global matrixed organization.
