Responsibilities
Supplier invoice processing — receive, review, and validate media invoices.
Match invoices to contracts and data in Mediaocean.
Investigate discrepancies and communicate with suppliers in case of non-conformance.
Prepare invoices and process payments in the accounting system.
Perform accounting close for media campaigns.
Perform monthly reconciliations between Mediaocean, internal accounting, and media reports.
Ensure consistency between planned and billed expenditures.
Participate in monthly closes and ensure deadlines are met.
Maintain close follow-up on accounts payable payments.
Respond to requests from teams (media, finance, operations).
Assist in preparing internal reports: budget tracking, spend by supplier, planned vs. actual comparisons.
Contribute to continuous process improvement and adherence to financial policies.
Requirements
1–3 years of experience in accounting, administration, or billing.
Experience in media, agencies, advertising, or marketing is an asset.
Practical knowledge of media buying workflows: TV, radio, out-of-home/billboards, digital, programmatic, etc. — an asset.
Degree in accounting, finance, administration, or a related field.
Proficiency in Mediaocean (Prisma / Spectra / Aura) — a major asset.
Familiarity with accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Acomba, QuickBooks).
Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables).
Basic understanding of the accounting cycle and vendor/supplier processing.
