About the role

Responsibilities
- Help our hiring managers to recruit top talent through coordination of recruitment processes and hosting screening interviews
- Design and coordinate regular company-wide events
- Manage the back-end of our HRIS, Rippling
- Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding of employees
- Respond to employee queries via Inbox and Slack
- Create process and educational documentation to create a more ‘self service’ employee & manager experience
- Assist the People Ops team with ad-hoc projects as they arise (and they often do!)
Requirements
- A few years experience in People Operations (HR) and Talent Acquisition.
- Experience managing an HRIS and ATS (from the back-end)
- Outstanding communication skills; written & verbal, talking and listening
- Ability to conduct interviews and quickly form judgments on candidate suitability
- Ability to manipulate and analyse data for reporting
- Basic understanding of Australian employment law
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally, building and maintaining trust with internal stakeholders
- Experience coordinating events that build company culture
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
