Responsibilities

  • End-to-end processing of the monthly Australian and UK payroll using Rippling
  • Managing the payroll inbox, answering questions from employees and resolving issues.
  • Maintaining employee records in Rippling, including pay and employment changes, new starters, terminations, and leave adjustments
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant employment, tax, and superannuation legislation
  • Preparing and reconciling payroll reports for Finance (including journals, PAYG, super, and STP)
  • Assisting with the annual EOFY process, audits, and other payroll-related projects as we scale
  • Partnering with People Operations and Finance to continuously improve our payroll and HRIS processes

Requirements

  • Solid hands-on experience running Australian payroll in a small to mid-sized business
  • Familiarity with Rippling or other modern HRIS/payroll systems
  • Understanding of tax, superannuation, salary packaging and novated lease principles
  • Comfortable managing sensitive information with confidentiality and care
  • Able to work independently, set priorities, and meet deadlines without close supervision
  • Great communicator, approachable, clear, and helpful with internal stakeholders
  • Seeking part-time work, 2–3 days per week (FTE 0.4–0.6)
