About the role

  • Payroll Specialist responsible for operational payroll processing in Switzerland. Collaborating with international teams and managing various payroll-related tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Recording and controlling variable payroll data in SAP
  • Interface with social insurance authorities, withholding tax authorities and other agencies
  • Recording daily allowance payments
  • Transmission of withholding tax via the ELM interface
  • Support with year-end activities
  • Advising employees, managers and HR colleagues on payroll matters; handling employee inquiries via AskHR
  • Participation in HR projects and process optimizations

Requirements

  • At least 5 years' experience in Swiss payroll
  • Strong knowledge of social insurance and income tax/withholding tax
  • Confident user of SAP; experience with the ELM interface
  • Experience in international companies (1,000+ employees)
  • High accuracy, reliability and analytical thinking
  • Trustworthy with absolute discretion
  • Training as an HR assistant or basic commercial education (advantageous)
  • Fluent German and very good English (approx. 50/50)
