About the role

  • Payroll Specialist managing multi-state payroll processing and compliance auditing for OneDigital. Ensuring accuracy in payroll and coordination of 401(k) contributions and audits.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for independently managing multi-state payroll and related activities
  • Responsible for all aspects of payroll, including payroll processing and compliance auditing
  • Coordinate 401(k) contribution/HSA submission processes
  • Audit and review benefit deductions
  • Prepare manual payments when required
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local wage and hour laws
  • Review timesheets and time off requests and address discrepancies
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly audits

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of payroll experience in a dedicated payroll function, with multiple states/jurisdictions
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred
  • Working knowledge of payroll processing, taxes, compliance, and auditing
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
