About the role

  • Senior Manager of US Payroll leading payroll operations at Galderma. Responsible for compliance, payroll accuracy, and partnering with stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end payroll delivery, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Lead year-end payroll activities including reconciliation, tax validation, and W-2 readiness
  • Thoroughly validate vendor payroll outputs prior to payroll close and statutory filings
  • Own day-to-day payroll vendor relationships, including service delivery, issue management and ongoing performance oversight
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve payroll issues efficiently and proactively
  • Establish and maintain strong payroll controls across employee lifecycle events, earnings and deductions, off cycle payrolls, and year-end statutory reporting to ensure accuracy, compliance and audit readiness
  • Proactively identify payroll risks early and escalate appropriately
  • Maintain documentation and processes to support audits and compliance reviews
  • Partner with Finance, HR, and Legal on payroll-related inquiries
  • Participate as a key contributor in payroll implementation and improvement projects
  • Drive process improvements to reduce manual effort and operational risk
  • Payroll tax compliance oversight and support
  • Foster a culture of accuracy, ownership, and proactive problem-solving
  • Operate independently day-to-day while maintaining alignment and transparency with leadership
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support business needs and growth

Requirements

  • 8+ years of payroll experience, including leadership responsibility
  • Experience managing multi-state, multi-entity payroll
  • Experience with payroll implementations, including Workday
  • Hands-on experience with Workday and Ceridian Dayforce payroll systems
  • Strong working knowledge of payroll compliance and regulatory requirements
