Take responsibility for growing our local business region
Overall relationship and management of day-to-day sales activities towards cabinet and furniture manufacturers, and residential and commercial woodworkers in territory
Engage in structured consultative sales discussions, both in person and virtually, ultimately serving as a business advisor towards customers
Make in-person visits to customers three to four days per week and perform regular automobile travel
Use CRM to track daily activity, plan and optimize sales calls, and follow up with customers' requests or needs
Provide product solutions and support to help customers profitably grow their businesses
May perform occasional lifting/moving up to 50 lbs and manage expense reporting
Requirements
Experience in sales, optimally outside sales within the building materials or construction industries
Eager to learn, with a passion for providing solutions to customers and a drive to achieve successful sales growth
Knowledge or experience with building materials, bathroom or kitchen cabinetry, closets, millwork, etc.
Highly motivated, able to self-direct and manage your own time and responsibilities, organize and plan
Able to learn and proficiently use our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) program to track daily activity, plan and optimize sales calls, and follow up with customers' requests or needs
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; must be able to effectively use Excel, Word, Outlook
As this position requires regular automobile travel, you must have your own independent, reliable transportation
Position requires you to work "in the field," making in-person visits to customers three to four days per week
Position may require occasional lifting/moving up to 50 lbs.
