Responsibilities
- Oversees the daily management of AAA’s preferred lodging partnerships and travel/rail supplier relationships.
- Acts as a strategic liaison between suppliers and AAA clubs to ensure smooth collaboration and maximize partner value.
- Responsible for monitoring industry developments, analyzing market trends, and providing insights for the future direction of AAA’s travel services.
- Manages and ensures adherence to preferred partner and airline agreements.
- Negotiates contract terms and member benefits to enhance member value.
- Manages marketing funds for lodging partners and implements exclusive marketing promotions to increase club lodging sales.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing and at least five (5) years of relevant experience.
- Extensive knowledge of the travel and hospitality industry, particularly in lodging.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Outstanding negotiation and client management skills.
- Exceptional complaint resolution and customer service abilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of travel industry sales and marketing practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, presentation skills, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
