Responsibilities
- Point of contact and advisor for management and clients regarding the WMS
- Support and accompany projects and requirements throughout their lifecycle
- Independently manage tenders and implement new WMS projects from planning through evaluation
- Analyze processes, define requirements, and continuously further develop the warehouse management system
- Plan, manage, and control projects while considering timelines, resources, and target achievement
- Coordinate between logistics and software partners to ensure a seamless information flow
- Use data analysis to optimize processes and develop innovative solutions for increased efficiency and quality
Requirements
- You have solid (2+ years) professional experience as an IT project manager/coordinator in WMS—ideally in the logistics services sector
- A completed vocational qualification (e.g., freight forwarding and logistics services clerk) or a similar qualification is an advantage
- You have knowledge of logistics and understand the interaction of operational processes, particularly logistics and warehouse processes, and their system support
- You have sufficient experience in analyzing, optimizing, and implementing warehouse management systems
- Experience with databases and SQL queries is desirable
- Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, initiative, and team spirit characterize you and enable you to succeed in challenging projects
- You are willing to travel occasionally
