About the role

  • Deliver exceptional sponsor (and exhibitor) experiences across a variety of events and mediums
  • Directly manage sponsors and exhibitors and work collaboratively with the client, vendors, and colleagues to provide seamless event delivery
  • Support development of strategic relationships with sponsor accounts to achieve long term, high value relationships
  • Partner with the sales team, the client and the sponsors to understand sponsor and client objectives and business needs
  • Contribute to achievement and exceeding of revenue targets through delivery of world class sponsorship experiences
  • Guide sponsors and exhibitors through their sponsorship participation (booth experiences, digital elements, content and sessions, graphics, registration, etc.)
  • Act as the "voice of the sponsor", influencing teams and vendors to think "sponsor first"
  • Deliver sponsor packages and MPOs (additional sponsorship elements) and implement processes for delivery
  • Contribute to development, communication and management of sponsor readiness materials, content guidance, policies, tech specs, key dates and approvals
  • Support financial management of sponsorship packages and MPOs including tracking, forecasting, reporting and risk mitigation
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with senior level sponsor decision makers to identify cross-sell/upsell opportunities
  • Drive continuous improvement of client and sponsor relationships through analysis and improvement plans
  • Provide day-to-day guidance within project teams, sharing knowledge and modelling company values

Requirements

  • Experience or working in sponsorship/exhibition execution at a high level or relevant transferable skills
  • Proven project management skills, running multiple projects on time and to budget
  • Proven experience of delivering sponsorship/ exhibition packages
  • Ability to work at pace, under pressure and across multiple events and projects
  • Proven excel and PPT skills
  • Strong business acumen and intellectual curiosity
  • Experience of working with the Microsoft eco-system is desirable
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop exceptional relationships
  • A passion for working with sponsors and exhibitors
  • Ability to work collaboratively and respect the views of others
  • Highly motivated with a can-do approach to finding solutions
  • Strong, persuasive communicator both written and verbally
  • Strong diplomacy and good negotiation skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and client focus
  • Highly organized with a good attention to detail
  • Quiet home environment from which to work
  • Minimum of 25MB download and 2MB upload speed for home broadband
  • Liking for and ability to undertake international travel throughout the calendar
