Responsibilities
Independent management and oversight of 2 to 5 strategic major customer contracts with high economic significance
Negotiation, drafting, and conclusion of contracts – from the initial concept phase to final implementation
Strategic development and management of customer relationships throughout the entire contract lifecycle
Use of contractual language to prepare and execute agreements
Identification and acquisition of new key account customers in line with company strategy
Analysis of individual customer requirements and development of tailored contract solutions
Preparation and presentation of compelling proposals based on solid market and needs analyses
Direct responsibility for contract decisions
Active market and competitive monitoring to identify trends and opportunities early
Requirements
Completed degree in Business Administration or completed vocational training, e.g., in forwarding/transportation
Several years of experience in strategic contract management, ideally in key account management or a comparable role
Confident negotiation skills, strong analytical abilities, and a structured working style
High degree of personal responsibility, decisiveness, and entrepreneurial thinking
Several years of professional experience within the contract logistics industry or several years of experience in customer management
Good knowledge in the use of contractual language for contract preparation
