Territory Manager providing expert consultation and solutions in commercial laundry for Ecolab. Impacting linen quality and operational efficiency in California's laundry industry.
Responsibilities
Develop strategic work plans for completing sales and service/consultation calls with new and existing customers
Partner with plant managers and other key personnel to understand their operations and laundry challenges
Prepare and deliver sales presentations on Ecolab's innovative laundry products and chemicals, processes & programs to increase your customers operating efficiencies
Cultivate long-term relationships that will lead to increased sales
Provide extensive hands-on product and solution training
Leverage your technical aptitude as you troubleshoot laundry machines and dispensing systems
Requirements
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
Ability to travel regularly, with 10-30% overnight travel required
Flexibility to work emergency calls at night, on weekends, and over holidays
Valid driver’s license & acceptable MVR
Vocational/Technical or bachelor’s degree
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, influence customers and build trust
Previous chemical sales experience, commercial laundry industry/operations, or plant management experience
2 years’ relevant work or military experience
1 year of applied mechanical problem-solving experience (i.e., plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or mechanical trouble shooting experience)
