About the role
- IT Solutions Engineer leading a team to support customers' Microsoft cloud and on-premise technologies. Involves collaboration with projects like Microsoft 365 migrations and Azure implementations.
Responsibilities
- Lead our team to support our customer's Microsoft cloud and on-premise technologies.
- Most of our customers depend on our full support and ownership of their technologies, systems, infrastructure and security management to help them maintain their business goals while not worrying about their IT.
- Work on Projects to meet on time and on budget completion goals
- Types of projects include: Microsoft 365 Migrations, Azure Implementations, Azure AVD, Microsoft Security Projects, Network Infrastructure, Cloud Migrations, etc.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality software
- Mentor and share knowledge with Support Team
Requirements
- Combination of onsite support & remote support
- Participate in On-Call rotation
- Same-day travel to customers outside of Cincinnati occasionally required
- Commit to excellence
- Create a professional rapport with customers by helping them feel their request is your most important priority
- Take ownership of requests and projects from start to finish
- Set customer expectations by prioritizing and scheduling their requests
- Track time and work using ticketing system
- Create and maintain documentation for system configuration, mapping and processes
- Manage systems for monitoring all customer systems and infrastructure
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower human intervention time on any tasks
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
