About the role

  • IT Systems & Solutions Architect designing and implementing technology framework supporting life-saving research in biotech. Ensuring compliance with global biotech standards and managing vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain the enterprise-wide IT architecture
  • Manage relationships with external MSPs and software vendors
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of core solutions (e.g., Veeva QualityDocs, QMS, RIM, LIMS)
  • Act as the technical authority for GxP/CSV (Computer System Validation)
  • Serve as a bridge between scientific stakeholders and external vendors
  • Design advanced security frameworks to protect intellectual property

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a similar field
  • MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect) preferred
  • Proven track record of managing larger implementation projects and multiple MSPs/vendors
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing complex, distributed systems
  • Deep understanding of the regulatory landscape in Life Sciences (GCP/GLP/GMP, FDA/EMA regulations)
  • Wide-ranging expertise in SaaS integrations (e.g. Veeva Vault), Azure, database design (SQL/NoSQL), API management, and cloud infrastructure
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead through influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders
  • Fluent in English required, German preferred
