About the role

  • Manager directing Supplier Engagement team for leading supply chain risk management company. Driving sales targets, coaching representatives, and maintaining team performance in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage the daily operations of the Supplier Engagement team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and sales targets.
  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor Supplier Engagement Representatives (SERs), fostering a culture of feedback, continuous learning, and high achievement.
  • Build and sustain a positive, inclusive team environment that values collaboration, accountability, innovation, and recognition of individual and collective achievements.
  • Leverage coaching platforms (Gong, TalkDesk, Avetta University) to develop team members' sales skills, optimize strategies, and set clear performance expectations.
  • Track and analyze team performance against KPIs and sales goals, partnering with the VP of Sales to proactively address gaps and drive continuous improvement.
  • Effectively manage daily activity metrics (Tableau & Salesforce), ensuring both individual and team results meet or exceed expectations.
  • Demonstrate Servant leadership, maintaining high attention to detail and exemplary time management in all aspects of team operations.
  • Consistently deliver on monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective 1:1s, team leadership, and strategic execution.
  • Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews held at our Lehi, UT office to assess progress, share insights, and align on future strategies.
  • Work closely with our Relationship Management Team, Billing & Support Teams & Campaign Onboarding Managers to ensure seamless pre-launch and post-registration handoffs occur to assist with the overall satisfaction of the supplier journey.
  • This role requires periodic travel for team meetings, collaboration sessions, and training events.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 1-3 years in a leadership or management role, preferably within the SaaS industry.
  • Demonstrated success in consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving measurable business results.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams, including remote teams, through effective coaching and feedback.
  • Strong customer-centric mindset with a track record of understanding client/supplier needs and delivering tailored solutions that enhance satisfaction and retention of our suppliers and clients.
  • Experience leveraging sales technologies (e.g., Salesforce, Gong, TalkDesk) to optimize team performance and inform strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build relationships across departments.
