About the role

  • Support Distribution partners in the acquisition of new business; including in finalist presentations and implementation meetings.
  • Be the primary contact for clients during new issue implementation phases.
  • Manage overall accountability for the relationship with the client throughout the implementation process.
  • Coordinate and facilitate all client and internal project team meetings.
  • Drive adoption of digital tools and experiences among plan members.
  • Work with clients and implementation teams to establish delivery dates for tasks.
  • Provide recommendations on plan design, service options, and technology solutions.
  • Create and modify implementation schedules as required; communicate changes to all impacted areas.
  • Manage the implementation project to ensure tasks are completed and timelines are met.

Requirements

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills along with strong negotiation skills preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of Group Pension products and services.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to influence decision makers at all levels.
  • Ability to think critically, analyze quantitative and qualitative data, and make recommendations for effective plan design.
  • Strong customer-facing skills including expectation management, communication skills, and information management.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in presentation skills, negotiating commitments, and turnaround times.
  • Proven ability to determine business priorities, meet goals, manage high work volumes, and work collaboratively across multiple teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Previous experience with a project management role/approach (PMP an asset) is preferred.
