Responsibilities
Oversee HR operations across India, the US, and Canada.
Ensure compliance with employment laws, taxation, benefits, and labor regulations in all three geographies.
Manage contracts, offer letters, and HR documentation.
Handle payroll coordination with finance teams and external partners.
Lead recruitment efforts for full-time, part-time, and contract roles.
Develop a consistent onboarding process across geographies.
Partner with leadership to identify future talent needs and develop effective succession planning strategies.
Co-design KRAs, KPIs, and performance frameworks aligned to SikhRI’s mission.
Facilitate regular performance reviews and feedback loops.
Guide managers on best practices in coaching, performance development, and conflict resolution.
Champion SikhRI’s values-driven and inclusive culture across diverse teams.
Design and deliver engagement initiatives, learning sessions, and wellness programs.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, offering support, mediation, and guidance.
Establish HR policies that balance North American standards with local Indian execution realities.
Build frameworks for flexible work, leave management, diversity & inclusion, and professional development.
Requirements
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
5–8 years of HR experience, with at least 2–3 years in an international/multi-country HR role.
Strong understanding of HR compliance frameworks in the US, Canada, and India.
Proven ability to design and implement HR processes, performance systems, and KRAs.
Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and empathy.
Strategic thinker who can balance day-to-day HR operations with long-term people development.
