Seasonal Part Time Sales Help position at LIDS providing customer service and support in retail operations. Responsibilities include sales goals, merchandising, and store maintenance.
About the role
- Develop and execute strategies to increase sales of service and solution offers, including tool management and pay-per-part models
- Lead and build capabilities and dedicated resources to accelerate service sales
- Manage full sales cycle: identify customers, present offers, negotiate pricing models, and close deals
- Oversee hardware and software installation projects and ensure timely delivery
- Monitor ongoing performance and support production optimization for performance-based agreements
- Ensure long-term customer value creation and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
- Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders across functions and geographies
- Report to Vice President of Global Sales and participate in international travel
Requirements
- Strong background in industrial B2B sales management
- Solid understanding of the metal-cutting tool market, including customer requirements and competitor dynamics
- Experience selling service-based offers or similar solutions (e.g., tool management, performance-based models)
- Knowledge of modern sales processes, CRM systems, and pipeline management
- University degree in a relevant field
- Comfortable negotiating with customers and managing complex projects
- Experience leading change in a global context and working across cultures and functions
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Experience in digital transformation and industrial innovation is a strong advantage
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally
