About the role

  • **Fund Registration:** Manage the registration of client funds for public distribution globally including submission of registration applications including notifications to regulatory authorities.
  • **Ongoing Reporting:** Continuously assess the ongoing reporting of funds approved to market in each jurisdiction to ensure compliance with local rules.
  • **Client Interaction: ** Adapting to clients’ needs and processes. Communicate effectively with clients and local counsel during the registration process.
  • **Documentation:** Prepare and collate necessary documentation for marketing applications, including notification forms, and jurisdictional prospectuses.
  • **Compliance:** Ensure ongoing compliance with local rules and maintain up-to-date client registration records.
  • **Relationship Management:** Liaise with third-party providers and manage these relationships.
  • **Reporting:** Prepare quarterly compliance statements and manage ongoing reporting obligations.
  • **Process Improvement:** Suggest and implement improvements to processes and adapt to varying client needs.

Requirements

  • **Essential Knowledge:** Strong understanding and knowledge of the funds environment, particularly in cross-border public distribution and experience in liaising and communicating effectively with clients and local counsel in the registration processes.
  • **Communication:** Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • **Interpersonal Skills:** Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidential information. Solution oriented mind-set.
  • **Analytical Ability:** Critical thinking and analytical skills in a pressured environment. Self motivator.
  • **IT Proficiency:** Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF.
  • **Teamwork:** Ability to work well in a team, support others, and foster a proactive atmosphere.
  • **Education and Experience:** University degree and/or relevant experience in financial services or investment management.
