About the role

  • Floor Manager overseeing team performance and customer experience in retail sector. Ensuring KPIs are met while fostering a positive shopping environment for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that KPIs in a specific area of the store are met or exceeded
  • Coordinates team members to achieve the best balance between customer service and store operations, thereby ensuring a unique shopping experience for customers
  • Supervises and coaches the team within their area of responsibility
  • Allocates resources and organizes processes in their area to manage efficiency and productivity
  • Monitors operational results for their area (e.g., bestsellers, floor allocation) and implements necessary measures to drive productivity and efficiency
  • Creates an attractive and welcoming shopping environment by consistently coordinating the team to perform visual merchandising and maintain cleanliness standards
  • Maintains a safe shopping and working environment
  • Supports recruitment, onboarding, training and the ongoing development of the store team

Requirements

  • Vocational qualification in retail
  • Good command of English
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in sports and/or fashion retail, advanced sales experience and a comprehensive understanding of product, retail and the industry (including initial leadership experience)
  • Adequate literacy and numeracy skills and advanced communication abilities
