About the role

  • You will work with clients to implement Fiserv’s Prologue Financials accounting suite – including general ledger, accounts payable, and fixed assets
  • Your primary responsibility will be configuring, converting, and loading historical data onto Prologue for clients who have recently purchased the product
  • Engage in custom data-related projects, updating the Prologue database via SQL scripting and other methods to affect the desired changes
  • Working with clients and preparing the Prologue Financials database for implementation
  • Importing and converting client conversion data into Prologue-friendly format, retaining all meaningful data points
  • Working with client on how to handle any discrepancies or exceptions
  • Posting general ledger journal entries as required to adjust data loaded
  • Crafting client financial and validation reports through the Prologue report writer and working with the client to resolve any findings
  • Partnering with the Business Consultants, Project Managers and Project Team to craft a solution to fulfill and prioritize the client’s business requirements
  • Identifying and implementing solutions to automate, or otherwise build efficiencies for, the various steps required for building out client databases – encouraging an environment of continual improvement

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent + prior experience or Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of applicable experience in data analysis skills, including managing, querying, and/or reporting from databases, preferably in a banking environment
  • 5+ years experience in financial accounting, including basic understanding of general ledger operations and software
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office, including MS Excel with demonstrated experience creating pivot tables, v lookups, and macros
  • Proven capability to collaborate with client as well as internal teams to define software deployment and configuration strategy that aligns with the bank client’s business objectives
